The Cover???!!!

Gearing up for a Mother's day issue, a local magazine asked for some Moms of Multiples to take photos of their kids. Needless to say I was shocked to go to the website and see we made the cover of the Tennessee Women's Journal April/May 2o11 issue!

On page 17 there was a blurb about us. You can either click on the photo to see it larger, or click HERE to download the pages and read page 17.

Reminds me of a multiples article three years ago when we lived in Northwest Arkansas. In Peekaboo magazine they asked us some funny stories to share. The boys had this photoshoot for that article - still one of my favorites!

Fun memories :)

Dan's publication Quoted in Businessweek

On the heals of yesterday's Forbes article.... today Businessweek picked up the topic and also quoted Dan's publication work in the article CEOs with MBAs Greener Than Those Without.

In Dan's line of work, he has done very well with his academic publications. However, when that work is recognized in the popular media, it is even more meaningful. It means that his work has a possibility of making more of an impact outside the academia circle.

Congratulations Honey, I'm proud of you!

I'm so Proud of my Husband!

Dan's research is quoted in Forbes!

I just wanted to share how proud I am of my husband! Dan has worked VERY hard over the last 4 years to completed his Phd, find a job, and stay ahead of the game as far as his publishings and keeping up his vita for tenure.

Most all of his publications are in top journals that are read and used for academic purposes. While they are listed in high regard, it is only recognized in the world of acadamia.

Today Dan's work (along with his cohort from UofA, Heather) was quoted in the popular media of Forbes! It's exciting when their work is recognized outside of the academic world.

Here is where you can read the article "Does an MBA make you unethical?"

Honey - I am so proud of you!!!

SOLD!!!

We were made an offer on our Arkansas house.... again.
We accepted this offer on our Arkansas house.... again.
We have started re-looking at homes here in Tennessee... again.

We are hesitantly optimistic, and will be holding our breath until April 14th when it's supposed to close.

Thank you for all that have prayed for our house to sell (twice), and those that have encouraged us when we have been upset about the process. We are praying for the Lord's guidance for a new home and about the whole settling process here in Tennessee.

This latest move has been gone more smoothly than what I remember our last move was like. Not all about the getting settled, church, area. More about the unpacking, the boys getting settled, etc. I found a picture of us in front of the Arkansas house before we moved there. I forgot how little the boys were, and how they were so needy and didn't understand the process! They had just turned One, and we had two crawlers still. Wow, how they have changed from that move until this one!

Moving from "The Natural State"

Lately we have been through many changes as a family. Within 6 weeks we accepted a job position, packed up our house, and moved to another state. While that time was a whirlwind, it gave us some time to really think about the short 2 1/2 years we lived in Arkansas.

As a family we have enjoyed the company of new friends over that time. While we were taking time to say good-bye to these friends, it made me realize how different our life has been in Arkansas. Our friends were not just limited to our church. While we LOVE LOVE LOVE our Siloam church family , we also had opportunities outside of our church family to meet friends. My Bible study, Moms and Tots, NWA Moms of Multiples Club, preschool, itty-bitty soccer, the Aquatic Center, and the park allowed us to meet so many people. I'm so happy to have met each of these people. They have meant a lot to me! Here are just a few of the people that made our Siloam Springs life fun!!!
Just only a couple of the friends we love and miss...
