Would You Like Giveaways??

If I did a book giveaway on my blog, would you be interested?? Just comment if you would.

I have another blog, Momma Reads, about some books I have read. It's mostly to try and get myself back into reading books, not about getting blog followers :) Most of the books I have reviewed, I'd like to give away! Media mail, of course.

If you are interested in a book giveaway (or have a family member that would be interested) , could you comment? If I actually have people that want to do it, I will start giving away books here and there.

(available in the US or Military only, please - so the shipping costs the same on my end).

I've gotten $100 FREE, don't you want to get that too??!!

Search & Win

I don't like my blog to be an advertisement for anything, but I will pass on stuff that has REALLY helped me and my family!!! I figured other families would want to know how I earned $100 in gift cards, without paying anything out of pocket, or even giving my credit card information "for verification". :)

Earlier this year I reluctantly signed up for Swagbucks after my cousin told me about it. Even though I was reluctant, I have earned over $100 in Amazon gift cards that I saved up for my kids Christmas shopping!!! It has been awesome getting the Amazon boxes in the mail these past few weeks. FOR FREE!

Does Google pay you to use their search engine?? Nope! It's that easy of a concept. Use the Swagbucks search engine instead of Google, and earn Swagbucks!

There are additional ways to earn, but that is the easiest. I signed up FOR FREE on the Swagbucks website. I added their tool bar, and stared earning points. Then when I wanted to see what prizes I wanted, I searched their gifts. There are actual physical items you can purchase, gift cards to different places (Amazon, Macy's, Southwest airlines, etc). I chose Amazon because you can purchase almost anything there.

Please use my Swagbucks link to show that I referred you, and I get referral points :)

Other ways to earn (once you are signed up, these are on the "Earn" section on the top toolbar):
~ Daily polls to earn points
~ View their no obligation offers
~ Do some of their offers (I earned 500 Swagbucks for trying Netflix free for a month!)
~ Promote it on your website/Facebook/Twitter

What are you waiting for??? SIGN UP TODAY!

Our 2010 Christmas Card

Merry Christmas from the Slater Family!
Our Christmas cards are now all mailed out, it's such a fun project to send out to family and friends. Both of my parents are one of seven children, so I try really hard to send out cards to each of my aunts, uncles and cousins every year. Especially since I don't live near ANY of them!

Who likes FREE Shutterfly??

Ever since my boys were born, I have had difficulty finding invitations, cards, and products that will fit my triplets. Either it’s too cheesy, too expensive, or just not right. Then there are the times that our family picture does not look right and I’d rather use individual pictures of the boys. A few years back I started messing around with my pictures and using different free and paid sites to create what I like. Then I started doing it for family and friends and work on side with ForYouByDee.

I have also used for the past three years Shutterfly Christmas cards. They have flat or folded cards, and both are great! You can create your own file (or have someone do it for you) or you can use their own layouts. For those of you reading that don’t have any clue how to do anything with your photos, it is super easy! Upload your photos, and pic a layout. It’s THAT simple! You can even edit the photos using their tools. Crop, red eye reduction, etc. Save and print! Oops, you thought of more people to send cards to and didn’t order enough? It’s okay, it’s in your saved products!

My favorite design I've used before is the HoHoHo design... it allows three photos on it for each of my boys!!!

Try one 5x7 greeting or flat card FREE with the code CARD4U.
OR
If you are Blogger, you can sign up to get 50 FREE cards from Shutterfly HERE

These are some of my favorite Shutterfly products:
Photobooks (probably a FEW of you on here have gotten one of these from me!)
Calendars (great grandparent gifts!)

It's not too early to be thinking about Christmas gifts!!! Only 46 more shopping days left :)

Fall Festival 2010

This year's Fall Festival at our church, Northside, was a HIT with my kids! There was food, snow cones, blow up slide, carnival games, bb gun shooting gallery, train ride, friends, and did I mention CANDY!?!?! It was all FREE to the community! The only downside is it was H-O-T! It's mid October and still 84 outside.

Here are the boys and Dan on the train
Carnival games are fun!
Yum... FOOD!
Look at all the people!
Fun blow up rides
The carnival games
Isn't the boys friend, Joshua, adorable?!
Dalton making a bracelet
Easton digging for the "right" candy
Quinton asked the girl to paint a Storm Trooper.
After her blank stare he settled on a pumpkin :)

Does anyone else's kids not like having their faces painted?
Dalton with is red snake
Quinton with his finished pumpkin
In their glory.... the first time shooting a BB gun!
Quinton is ready for his turn

Thanks for all the fun, Northside!

Who Doesn't Like Free Swag???

free.jpg free sign image by iloverob_22
As our boys birthday is coming closer, we start to get in the mail and email some discounts and free items. I LOVE free swag!!!

I was trying to think of some new places here in Tennessee to sign up, and posted a request on Facebook. Of course I got lots more help from all my free-loving friends.

Think you want to do special little things for your kids? It has been FUN and still is as we keep getting more coupons. In fact, we even did an early birthday shopping trip this last weekend. In the past I have taken the boys $3 gift cards from Toys R Us and used them towards their gifts, but this year they had a BLAST picking out their own presents from Geoffrey and handing their gift card to the checker.

There will be local places in your area to sign up also, but this is what I can recall I have done so far:

Toys R Us $3 gift card
Children's Place 15% off code
Zaxby's free cookie
Sonic free kids meal
Baskin Robbins free kids cone
Chuck E Cheese free tokens
Red Robin free burger

Other places we don't have here that offer items are Cold Stone, Krispy Kreme, and Price Cutter.

Check your local grocery store and see if they give cakes away for free or discounted. For first birthdays we got a free cake at Price Cutter, and a free sitting at Olan Mills (both that we don't have here in TN).

What else have you gotten for free birthday swag??? Please post in the comments so I can learn new places to sign up!
